King Hickory Furniture Company is a family owned company. We began manufacturing fine upholstered furniture in 1958 in Hickory, North Carolina. For over 50 years, we have proudly provided the highest quality, upholstered fabric and leather furniture to the consumer. Hickory and the surrounding Catawba Valley area are world renowned for the manufacturing of upholstered furniture. The close proximity of some of the finest Appalachian hardwoods influenced the location of the furniture manufacturing industry in this area. A skilled workforce that takes much pride in building fine furniture has been an even greater reason for the establishment of the industry in the Hickory area.
